🪁 Origami Corner
Where folded paper takes flight into fun and learning!
📜 What is Origami?
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. With just a simple sheet, you can create animals, boats, flowers, and even rockets! It helps children build concentration, hand-eye coordination, and patience—all while having loads of fun.
📦 Fold Along Projects
- 🦋 Butterfly – A fluttery friend to color and fly
- 🚢 Paper Boat – Set it afloat on your rainy-day adventures
- 🦢 Swan – Graceful folds and peaceful vibes
- 🦖 Dino Buddy – Rawr-some fun with zig-zag folds
🦋 Let's Fold a Butterfly!
- Start with a square paper, colored side down.
- Fold diagonally both ways, then unfold to make X-shaped creases.
- Now fold top to bottom and left to right, then unfold again.
- Collapse into a triangle by pinching the sides together (waterbomb base).
- Fold the top corners down to meet the bottom point—this forms the wings.
- Flip over and fold the small triangle upward over the top (this forms the body).
- Fold the entire model in half lengthwise—gently press the wings outward. Ta-da! 🦋

Tip: Decorate with crayons or glitter for extra magic!
🚢 Make a Paper Boat!
- Start with a rectangle (A4) paper—fold it in half top to bottom.
- Fold again left to right—crease and unfold to get center line.
- Fold the top corners toward the center to make a triangle hat shape.
- Fold the bottom flaps on both sides upward—it's now a paper hat!
- Open it into a diamond (square), then fold the bottom corners up again.
- Now gently pull the corners outward—it pops into a boat! 🛳️

Sail your boat in a basin and let your imagination float!
